I'm laughing now because I'm thinking of making a post of the men I find attractive (it's all your fault Mark!) but seeing as the last post I made on here was a pic spam of the gorgeous Peter Gabriel I think I'll leave it for now or this whole blog will be a mass of fangirly lust.
So I'll leave it at just 2 for now ;-P
Emerson, Lake & Palmer (yes, all of them but especially Carl - woof!)
and perhaps surprisingly my biggest crush of the past year...
The delightful Graeme Garden *sigh* and I'm not the only one so put that in your pipe and smoke it!

Happy Birthday Peter Gabriel
I'd like to put in words how much this man and his music means to me but seeing as that's virtually impossible to do...
It's pic spam time!
This is a picture of Peter at WOMAD 2009 when I was lucky enough to be there :-)
And finally (because I just can't resist)
Haha! my friend did this for me on my last Birthday and it's just too brilliant not to post again.
Happy 62nd (I can't believe it, you still look amazing) Birthday Peter <3

Twice a Fortnight
By rights this show should be legendary featuring as it did not only the major comic talents of the decade but also performances from some of the greatest bands of all time (The Who and Cream to name but two). And yet as it is, it lasted for just one series before disappearing without a trace and so far there is very little surviving footage available.
Sadly this seems to be the case with so many programmes from the 60s and 70s. Early editions of 'Top of the Pops' are another example, hence why the current repeats started at 1976 instead of the "golden era" of the late 60s-early 70s. Makes me wonder how much we may never see again.

I suppose I should explain my absence
Basically I've not been feeling all that good, after managing to avoid two bouts of family cold over Christmas I've now gone and picked up my usual start of the year lurgy. Hopefully it won't evolve into the horrible throat infections I had a couple of years back but needless to say I feel pretty grotty (sympathy please).
And so I shall leave you with some of my favourites from the I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue "Cold and Flu Songbook"
My Love Is Like a Red Red Nose
Cattarh Man
I Will Survive
Greensleeves
Eternal Phlegm
The hills are alive with the sound of mucus
Sneeze Up Mother Brown
While my Cattarh Gently Weeps
No matter how bad I feel, the funniest radio comedy there ever was always makes it better :-D
